Golgari Gardens is a mono-black grindy deck with removal-heavy Instants like Snuff Out and Spinning Darkness but almost no counters worth Dispel-ing, so it comes out for the more broadly useful Campfire. Campfire's incremental life gain is valuable against their attrition plan of Crypt Rats and Troll of Khazad-dum chip damage, while also helping you outlast Defile and Rancid Earth land destruction. Keep your full removal and card-advantage suite intact since this matchup comes down to who runs out of resources first, and Golgari Gardens has very little pressure to punish a slightly slower draw. Be mindful of Weather the Storm and Duress in their sideboard plan when timing your key spells.
