Rending Volley deals 4 damage to any white creature, which is their entire board, and cleanly kills Adeline, Resplendent Cathar or Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. Redcap Melee and Fiery Impulse mop up their small Humans like Dauntless Bodyguard and Kytheon, Hero of Akros before they can be pumped by Thalia's Lieutenant. Trim Monstrous Rage and Reckless Rage since their removal (Erode) and go-wide strategy punish over-investing in a single creature, favoring a race won through efficient removal and burn to the face instead.
