Azorius Control is packed with cheap interaction like Spell Snare, March of Otherworldly Light, and Get Out, so Magebane Lizard punishes them for casting removal and counterspells at instant speed, dealing damage to them for each noncreature spell they cast in a turn. Be aware it does not dodge their sweepers: it is destroyed by Supreme Verdict and Ultima, and it is exiled by Temporary Lockdown, so treat it as a cheap threat that taxes their spells rather than a resilient one. Redcap Melee gives extra removal that can hit a planeswalker like Teferi, Hero of Dominaria (for example after it uses its -3) or a creature like Beza, the Bounding Spring, though you sacrifice a land whenever it damages a nonred permanent. It is better than Reckless Rage here, which requires a creature you control to also take damage and is often a dead card against a deck with few early creatures. Monstrous Rage is weak since Temporary Lockdown and their removal suite blanks the enchanted creature easily and the Role token doesn't protect from bounce or exile. Focus on forcing them to answer threats before Teferi or Beza, the Bounding Spring stabilize the game.
