Golgari is full of cheap removal and discard, so Screaming Nemesis dies too easily before it matters against Fatal Push, Abrupt Decay, and Go for the Throat. Magebane Lizard punishes their Thoughtseize, Fatal Push, Abrupt Decay, and other cheap noncreature spells while presenting a 1/4 body. Keep in mind it also deals damage to you for your own noncreature spells, so sequence carefully. Weathered Runestone does nothing relevant here, since Golgari's Demon token, planeswalkers, and land recursion all sit outside what it stops, so it stays in the sideboard. Keep applying pressure early since Sheoldred, the Apocalypse punishes any grindy long game.
