Temur Indomitable Creativity casts a large number of noncreature spells (Deduce, Consult the Star Charts, Prismari Command, Volcanic Spite) on the way to Indomitable Creativity, so Magebane Lizard punishes that volume. It deals damage to whichever player casts a noncreature spell, equal to the number of noncreature spells they've cast that turn, so it also hits you when you chain your own spells. Its 1/4 body also blocks their early Goblin Shaman tokens from Fable of the Mirror-Breaker well. Monstrous Rage comes out since their removal suite (Fiery Impulse, Torch the Tower, Volcanic Spite) is efficient against small buffed creatures. Weathered Runestone is not brought in: Indomitable Creativity puts its exiled cards onto the battlefield from exile, and Fable's flipped side copies a creature already on the battlefield, so Runestone stops neither. Its only real use here would be against Raph & Mikey's attack trigger, which is too narrow to justify a slot. Ramunap Ruins stays in to keep the mana base intact.
