Exalted Angel is a resilient, lifelinked-style threat (gaining life whenever it deals damage) that outclasses The Rock's ground creatures like Ravenous Baloth and Krosan Tusker in a long grind. It has no protection from Pernicious Deed, though: face down as a morph it has mana value 0 and face up it has mana value 6, so Deed can destroy it either way. Time it carefully and don't overcommit into an open Deed. Decree of Justice is vulnerable to Pernicious Deed sweeping your token army along with everything else, so trim both copies for the Angels. Keep Swords to Plowshares for Nantuko Vigilante and Wrath of God to answer an overextended board, while being mindful that Cabal Therapy can strip your hand before you can develop. Standstill is still valuable since The Rock is a grindy, card-advantage-reliant deck that benefits from staying passive, but don't let it blow you out against Duress-informed sequencing.
