Tireless Tribe is a Survival of the Fittest aggro deck that curves out with cheap threats, so Meddling Mage can name Survival of the Fittest or Wild Mongrel to cut off their engine and card selection. Absorb's 3 life gain is less impactful than tempo plays against this fast start, so it comes out for the more proactive Meddling Mage. Wrath of God and Rout remain vital sweepers against their wide board of Arrogant Wurm, Basking Rootwalla, and tokens. Swords to Plowshares and the counter suite should prioritize their most threatening early plays to buy time to land Standstill.
