Tormod's Crypt is the single best card against Hermit Druid combo, exiling their entire graveyard the moment it's milled and preventing Volrath's Shapeshifter from copying anything or Unearth/Animate Dead from reanimating their combo pieces. Diabolic Edict forces a sacrifice that can catch Hermit Druid itself before it activates or a resolved Volrath's Shapeshifter after the combo, bypassing any shroud or protection concerns. Foil and Circular Logic are weaker since countering a random spell doesn't stop the core Hermit Druid activation itself, which isn't a spell, so prioritize graveyard hate and removal instead. Keep Duress in to strip Survival of the Fittest or Hermit Druid proactively before they can go off.
