WUBG is a lands-and-enchantments midrange deck running Sphere of Resistance and Oath of Druids, both of which Annul can counter before they resolve to keep your own spells cheap and deny their Oath engine. Tsabo's Web locks down their utility lands — Treetop Village, Mishra's Factory, Rishadan Port — by stopping them from untapping, crippling their late-game mana sinks and tempo plays. Mana Short punishes a turn where they tap out for Oath of Druids or a Terravore-enabling play, stranding their mana. Black Vise underperforms against a grindy land-based opponent, so both copies come out for more targeted disruption.
