Mono-Red Sligh is a fast burn deck with few permanents worth answering with enchantment removal, so we bring in extra copies of our best cheap interaction instead. The third Swords to Plowshares exiles their Ball Lightning or Grim Lavamancer before it does damage; the catch is that its controller gains life equal to its power, so we accept giving them some life in exchange for removing the threat. The second Abeyance can stop them from casting instants like Fireblast or Incinerate for a turn, and it replaces itself with a card, buying time for our engine to come online. Opalescence and Parallax Wave are too slow and clunky against a deck trying to kill us quickly, so we trim them for cheap, efficient interaction.
