Stiflenought wins by using Stifle to counter Phyrexian Dreadnought's triggered ability, then protecting the 12/12 with counterspells while you drown in card disadvantage from Foil and Gush. Your primary plan is to resolve Xantid Swarm on turn one or two — once it connects, the opponent cannot cast counterspells during your turn, giving you a window to assemble Enchantress's Presence, Solitary Confinement, or Opalescence. Abeyance buys a critical free spell resolution and replaces itself via draw, serving a similar role to Xantid Swarm for non-combat windows. Aura of Silence comes in to answer Tsabo's Web (which shuts off Serra's Sanctum) and slows down their Powder Keg. Seal of Cleansing is trimmed because Stiflenought runs minimal enchantment or artifact targets game one, and Swords to Plowshares is reduced since countering the Dreadnought's trigger (not destroying it) is their game plan — once Solitary Confinement locks up the ground, combat damage is mostly irrelevant anyway.
