Gruul Goblins is a fast, aggressive deck that wins through Goblin Lackey and Goblin Warchief enabling an overwhelming flood of creatures, often closing the game before you can stabilize. Your primary game plan remains the same — land a Phyrexian Dreadnought early and protect it, while using Stifle to answer Rishadan Port activations and Wasteland triggers. Blue Elemental Blast and Hydroblast come in as efficient, cheap answers to key threats like Goblin Piledriver and Goblin Warchief, and can also counter Naturalize before it hits your Dreadnought. Annul handles Pyrostatic Pillar from the sideboard, which is otherwise a serious problem for a deck that wants to chain cantrips and free spells. Powder Keg, Misdirection, and Thwart are trimmed as the slowest or most conditional elements — Powder Keg rarely has time to matter against this speed, and Misdirection and Thwart are poor in a game where you need mana up every turn to respond.
