Mono-Black Aggro floods the board early with cheap creatures like Forsaken Miner, Iridescent Vinelasher, and Nighthowl Pursuer, demanding efficient removal over card advantage. Stab is a great rate against their many 1-2 toughness creatures. The End exiles a threat outright, which matters against Forsaken Miner's recursion from the graveyard. Ancient Vendetta can strip all copies of a key threat like Iridescent Vinelasher from their whole deck. Together as One is too slow against this aggressive clock, and Duress does little when their curve is mostly creatures, not the noncreature spells it can take.
