Golgari Midrange runs a sweeper in Deadly Cover-Up plus discard like Duress, so proactive hand disruption and resilient threats matter most. Duress strips away their sweeper or Duress of our own before it lands, protecting our aggressive start. Gollum the Abandoned pressures their life total early and recurs itself from the graveyard, making it a strong follow-up after a board wipe. Dissection Practice's small pump/shrink rarely changes combat math against their bigger midrange bodies, and the Greatsword token is a poor sweeper target, so both come out.
