Izzet Leyline Aggro floods the board fast with cheap creatures (Elusive Otter, Stadium Headliner, Slickshot Show-Off) and pump spells, so sweepers and cheap interaction matter far more than reactive counterspells that cost 3+ to matter. Flashfreeze cleanly answers their red spells like Ancestral Anger, Wild Ride, and Turn Inside Out, denying pump before it resolves. Strategic Betrayal exiles a creature they control plus their graveyard, shutting off Wild Ride's harmonize recursion. No More Lies is too slow and easily paid through by an aggressive low-curve deck, and Together as One doesn't impact the board fast enough against this clock.
