Dimir Control is a slower, discard-and-removal-heavy deck built around Duress, Requiting Hex, Bitter Triumph, and Day of Black Sun sweepers backed by Stock Up card advantage, so resilient threats that generate value beat one-for-one interaction. Slickshot Show-Off rebuys cards even after a removal spell or discard, keeping your hand full against their disruption package, and Sear is a cheap, efficient way to punch through a blocker like Superior Spider-Man or close the game once they're tapped out from casting Stock Up. Hexing Squelcher is weak since most of their interaction is sorcery-speed discard and removal that the stun clause doesn't interact with, and Lightning Strike gets replaced by the more resilient card-advantage plan needed to grind through their long game.
