Sultai Reanimator relies on filling and using its graveyard through cards like Bringer of the Last Gift, Overlord of the Balemurk, and Superior Spider-Man's Mind Swap, so Ghost Vacuum and Soul-Guide Lantern are crucial to disrupt their recursive value engine and deny reanimation targets. Soul-Guide Lantern's enters-the-battlefield exile can proactively strip a key target, while Ghost Vacuum lets us continually exile cards over time as they mill and discard. Howlsquad Heavy and Shock are cut since they do little to interact with the opponent's graveyard-centric plan and our proactive clock is better served by disruption here.
