Mono Black Aggro fills the board with cheap creatures like Forsaken Miner, Iridescent Vinelasher, and Nighthowl Pursuer, so Slagstorm's 3 damage to all creatures sweeps their early board effectively. Magebane Lizard's 1/4 body is a strong blocker against their small attackers while punishing their noncreature spells like Dissection Practice and Shoot the Sheriff. Razorkin Needlehead can't block profitably against their aggressive creatures, and Kellan and Broadside Barrage are too slow for this race, so both come out for more efficient early interaction. Keep Burst Lightning and Channeled Dragonfire to pick off their one-toughness threats and stabilize.
