Jeskai Artifacts is heavily reliant on cheap artifacts like Mox Opal, Lotus Petal, and the Baubles to power out threats like Pinnacle Emissary, making Meltdown our best sideboard card since it can wipe their mana rocks and utility artifacts for a low X value. Urza's Saga is an Enchantment Land rather than an artifact, so Meltdown can't hit it, but the Construct tokens it makes are 0-mana-value artifact creatures that die to a low-X Meltdown. Ratchet Bomb is also excellent since it scales to blow up their cheap permanents at the right mana value (it only hits nonland permanents, so it never touches Urza's Saga itself), and Strix Serenade counters their key creature and artifact spells, like Emry, Lurker of the Loch (a creature) or Pinnacle Emissary (an artifact creature), while giving them only a token. Spell Pierce and Into the Flood Maw are less impactful than proactive artifact destruction here, and Mishra's Bauble is among our weakest cards in this matchup. We keep Unholy Heat in because their creatures like Emry and Goblin Welder are small enough to die to its base 2 damage.
