Ocelot Pride Midrange goes wide fast with Cat tokens off Ocelot Pride and Ajani, so we want cheap removal: Lightning Bolt and Twinshot Sniper's enter-the-battlefield damage can each kill a 1/1 or 2/1 Cat token, and Abrade can kill small creatures or destroy an artifact like a problematic Equipment. Haywire Mite can answer Ocelot Pride or Ajani, Nacatl Pariah itself if they transform it, since both start as noncreature-adjacent threats that are vulnerable once we have a target. We trim the slower value pieces (Pinnacle Emissary, extra cantrips) since this matchup is about racing and killing their token engine before it snowballs. Wasteland and Karakas on their side also punish our legendary-heavy build, so prioritize resolving Urza's Saga early.
