Belcher is a fast, colorless-focused combo deck built around Goblin Charbelcher and enablers like Lotus Bloom, and Consign to Memory can counter colorless spells and any triggered abilities they rely on for one mana each, making it excellent proactive disruption against their combo turn. Mystical Dispute is a cheap answer to their blue support spells like Counterspell or Whir of Invention. Tormod's Crypt is dead weight since Belcher has no meaningful graveyard plan, so it all comes out in favor of countermagic that can stop their explosive kill before it happens.
