Affinity is full of artifact creatures and colorless/no-mana-spent spells, making Consign to Memory a great catch-all against free or colorless spells like Mox Opal activations' resulting threats or any Mishra's Bauble-style triggers, and it also stops some of their key colorless creature spells if cast for no mana via affinity discounts are irrelevant, but it still counters colorless spells outright. Stern Scolding has very few live targets since Kappa Cannoneer, Pinnacle Emissary, and Weapons Manufacturing tokens are often above the power/toughness threshold or not relevant, so it comes out. Tormod's Crypt adds a small amount of graveyard disruption against their own Mishra's Bauble/Tormod's Crypt war and can hit Emry if sided in. Beyeen Veil is weak since most of their threats aren't attacking with high power early, so it is cut.
