Goryo's Vengeance wants to reanimate Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Griselbrand cheaply and protects its combo pieces with Force of Negation and free spells like Solitude's evoke; Consign to Memory counters colorless spells and triggered abilities, though note it won't stop their colored Goryo's Vengeance itself, so lean on speed instead. Vexing Bauble punishes their evoke-cast Solitude and Force of Negation which are cast without spending mana. Tormod's Crypt in our maindeck is already a strong answer to their graveyard-based combo. Claws of Gix and Welding Jar do little against a deck trying to assemble a specific combo rather than grind incrementally.
