Affinity plays a critical mass of colorless and artifact spells, making Consign to Memory a one-mana blowout against Engineered Explosives, Mishra's Bauble, and other colorless threats like Kappa Cannoneer triggers. Nihil Spellbomb exiles their graveyard to stop Emry's artifact recursion and can also protect our own Atraxa/Griselbrand plan from their Tormod's Crypt. Faithful Mending is too slow against Affinity's explosive curve topping out with Kappa Cannoneer, and Spell Pierce is redundant with the cheaper, more impactful Consign to Memory package. Prioritize resolving Goryo's Vengeance early since their deck has almost no way to interact with our graveyard plan outside sideboarded Tormod's Crypt.
