Aura of Silence taxes Phyrexian Dreadnought directly (an artifact spell) by {2}, and its sacrifice ability destroys a resolved Dreadnought outright, making it our best proactive answer to their entire gameplan. Xantid Swarm flies in and shuts off their ability to cast spells on our attack step, buying a window where they can't fire off Stifle, Daze, or a counterspell protecting their combo. Swords to Plowshares stays in as a one-mana exile answer to their only threat, and Solitary Confinement remains our backstop since it prevents all damage, neutralizing a Stifled 12/12 trampler. Parallax Wave and Replenish are our weakest cards here since they don't interact with the Dreadnought plan or their counterspell suite.
