Haunting Echoes is excellent against their recursive threats like Eternal Dragon, and it also strips the graveyard fuel that Skeletal Scrying needs as an additional cost, exiling their graveyard and stripping matching cards from their library to deny long-term grinding power. Ravenous Rats loses value since this is a slower control matchup where a single discarded card matters less over a long game, so it's trimmed for the more impactful late-game tool. Keep Duress and Cabal Therapy in to strip Wrath of God or Vindicate before they can reset the board or answer your threats, and Pernicious Deed remains strong against their creatures like Exalted Angel. This is a grindy attrition matchup where card advantage engines like Graveborn Muse and Krosan Tusker should close the game over time.
