4c Artifacts wants to assemble engines like Simulacrum Synthesizer and Pinnacle Starcage while sweeping with Day of Judgment; Duress strips key noncreature pieces like Day of Judgment or Pinnacle Starcage before they lock down our board. Bitter Triumph answers their rare creature threats outright. Flamecache Gecko and some Hired Claws come out since Day of Judgment and Perilous Snare punish small bodies, and our proactive disruption plan is better suited to beating their engine before it comes online. Try to deploy threats after Duress has cleared their sweepers.
