BRG relies heavily on ETB value from Biotech Specialist and The Sackville-Bagginses, so Torpor Orb turns off all of that incoming value while our own landfall engine (Earthbender Ascension, Mightform Harmonizer) keeps functioning independent of ETB triggers. Sheltered by Ghosts answers their best threat, such as Smaug the Magnificent or The Sackville-Bagginses, while adding a lifelink body to race their aggressive sacrifice plan. We trim Esper Origins since its slow saga value matters less in this grindier matchup, and Doorkeeper Thrull's redundant ETB-blank effect is less needed once Torpor Orb is in. Keep Llanowar Elves and the fetch lands running to keep pace with their explosive curve.
